Los Updates vs Argenis Brito EP

CS390668-01B-BIGArgenis Brito and Los Updates : two of the most distinguished exponents of chilean dance music armada get together on glorious vinyl . Argenis , born in Venezuela , was given a chilean club passport by Luciano,  Pier Bucci and Villalobos a long time ago due to his outstanding services as a producer , singer and overall party raiser. He met Los Updates‘s boss Jorge Gonzalez in New York in 1994 , while attending a Wu Tang Clan show and together with Dandy Jack , Tobias and Atom Heart did in 1997 “Gonzalo Martinez and His Thinking Congas” a visionary mix of cumbia and electronics . On this brand new release they tease us with “Valparaiso” and “Don‘t Take Candy From Strangers” … you can smell the delicious scent of an instant classic emanating from the wax.

Minimaland Feedback: Summer is the perfect time for this kind of music. The latin soul of this Chilean crue will be the amusement of every dancefloor. Valparaiso is a track that has the power to rise up “the funk” in every party, truly fitted for this time of the year.
