Each Wednesday of this month Marc Houle will release a new Ep with 3 digital tracks -mp3’s – that are available on Beatport and Minus official site. So in the end of the month you’ll get to have 12 brand new tracks from this genuine producer. The Sixty-Four series represents a new phase in Houle’s career – he spent the most of the year in the production of this album. These 12 tracks were only meant to work as Dj Tools for Magda, Troy Pierce and Richie Hawtin over the summer but their big success – several Dj’s tried to get them – made Minus guys changed their minds and then the Sixty-Four series was born!

In the first week will be available the digital release of “Sands”, “Deathray At You” and “Jouster”. You can count on heavy deep acid stuff and dark rude basslines. Jouster will probably be the biggest hit of this series, it’s composed by a classic minimal beat and bassline fulfilled by acid elements and a neurotic sampled vocal.
Week 2 is dedicated to 80’s computer and video game culture. The ones from those times will gladly listen this Ep remembering some of this twisted samples. Door Nobula bookmarks this release with a more aggressive fusion of acid lines and techno.
Week 3 might seem more subtle and calm release, but in a few minutes you will understand that this is another dancefloor killer. Expect dark hypnotic grooves throughout this Ep and an unusual electro-funk groove installed in the euphoric “Ketchup and Beans” – very different to what he normally produces.
Last, but not the least week 4, completing this amazing pack of huge tracks. “Meatier Shower” has a fantastic bass and a Magda (!) vocal. This insane neurotic bomb will conquer everyone that listens it! “Investments” surfs another waves going through several effects and delays that will disturb your mind… and finally “What Are You Doin” ends this row perfectly. Intense beat and a nice set of acoustic drums.
If anyone had any doubts of this guy talent I hope that’s over now! This set that initially was only to be used as Dj Tools turned out to be a pack of very intense, disturbed and hallucinated songs with the unique Marc Houle’s fingerprint! Unmissable
