Lauhaus – Bring It

-12inch_3mm_sleeveFor Remote Area’s 24th release we welcome back Amsterdam-based, DJ and producer, Lauhaus. Internationally known for his sounds as one half of Polder, his awesome solo productions also create a stir as he blends and clashes house and techno to produce his own exhilarating sound.
“Bring it” brings you a blend of digital vocals across disco feel undercurrents all pinned together with some hot percussive deep drum action. It’s guaranteed to bring the dance floor to a housey climax. Whereas “Moonshine” is a beautiful brew of unforgettable keyboard melodies that thread across, dive under and sweep over the driving beats and our favorite track of the Ep. “Cremita” brings nature to the fore with its relaxing vocals, bird song snippets and guitar riffs intertwined to create a chilled soundscape.

Minimaland Feedback: By now you should all know that both Remote Area and Lauhaus represent quality in the electronic musical world. Every thing this label launches is full of quality and every Lauhaus release follows the same pattern. This 3 track EP is a very exquisite one, with tunes to suit all of your different tastes, from the most deep  (you’ll certainly enjoy “Cremita”) to the most shaky dancefloor ones (”Bring It” is the one for you). Our fav  track – “Moonshine” –  stands in the middle of this two and it’s certainly a very nice one to be listened. Remote Area did it again.

Polder – Zero Zero

INTACTO_22Intacto Records is still a pretty young label in the market. The Amsterdam imprint was founded in 2004 and since then they have been always bringing top releases to the scene with the participation of producers like 2000 and One, Shinedoe and Polder. Today we come here to present their next release that will be out in the middle of December and that was producer by the duo composed by Lauhaus & David Labeij, two of the most uprising Dutch artists of 2009. The Ep starts with the “Zero Zero”, a track full of joy and harmony, with some “stabbing and sweeping synths” and a 4×4 pumpy beat that will leave everyone euphoric. In the flip side you’ll listen “Green Sunday”, the track that really fits our standards, a fabulous deep track that seems to be telling a story due to it’s fabulous melodie, distant vocals and uprising beat. Perfect to be spread in clubs. If you buy the digital version you’ll have another track, “Sweatshop” the most pumpy track of the release and a really good add-on to the all instalment.

a) Zero Zero
b) Green Sunday
Digital: Sweetshop

Lauhaus – Latenights

asdasfDespite being the first Lauhaus Ep that we post, we’ve been following his career for a long time, this Dj and Producer creates dedicated music and his Dj sets are some of the best ones you can listen. Laurens Lanting aka Lauhaus is also one of the parts of the duo Polder, highly known by their famous album Poldermodel and this solo Ep proves all his quality. This producer from the Netherlands presents three amazing tracks that will have a tremendous effect among underground crowds. His deepness his something that we definitely appreciate and you will be able to confirm it when you listen this release. The first track “Latenights” is a guaranteed dancefloor igniter with it’s deep beat and incredible tech-house rhythm. A flawless track that will make the dancing people go crazy. Lauhaus bounce it again in the b-side track “Newe Welle” surfing through even more deep dark waves, not as techy as the other but with far more soul… it’s a perfect one for our kind of style and the one that makes us astonished here at the land. If you buy it digitally you’ll have a third track – “Backstage Beauties” a after-hours session bomb, that it’s worth to buy. Released by Intacto Records.
